
The Legal Bit: Terms for Early Access Promotions
The eligibility criteria below apply in respect of the promotion(s) you might be participating in.
What you need to know
To participate in any of the incentives listed below you’ll need to participate in good faith and accept these terms through the Monzo app. These legal terms are between you and MBEU Designated Activity Company (Monzo/us/we) located at Unit 1, Floor 4, One Central Plaza, Dame Street, Dublin 2, Ireland. The eligibility criteria below apply in respect of the promotion(s) you are participating in.
Sign Up Promotion Eligibility
In order to be eligible to participate in an incentive from Monzo Bank, you must be an Irish resident aged 18 or over with a Monzo account, except Monzo employees.
€25 Sign-up promotion
Receive €25 when you open a Monzo Account and activate your card!
Customers who sign up for a Monzo Account will only be able to receive €25 for doing so provided:
You successfully open a Monzo Account and activate your card
You are a personal account holder and you have not already received €25 for opening a personal account and activating your card.
You are a business account holder and you have not already received €25 for opening a business account and activating your card.
If you hold both a business account and a personal account, the sum of the amounts credited to your accounts under this promotion will not be greater than €50.
This promotion will be open to Monzo customers who meet the eligibility criteria on or before April 13th 2026.
Business Account Twelve months free Pro or Team paid plans
To be eligible to participate in this sign up Promotion from Monzo Bank, you must be an Irish resident aged 18 or over with a Monzo Business account.
Customers who sign up for a Monzo Business Account will be eligible to receive twelve months of free Pro and Team paid plans from the date business account customers activate their card.
This promotion will be open to new Monzo Business Account customers who open an account and who meet the eligibility criteria on or before 13 April 2026.

Business banking customers
To be eligible to participate in this incentive from Monzo, you must be an Irish resident aged 18 or over with a Monzo Business Account or a potential Monzo Business Account customer and not be a holder of an existing Monzo UK or US account.
Business account customer Golden Ticket Eligibility
Sole traders or limited companies who receive a Golden Ticket and meet the following criteria are eligible to skip the waitlist and have €100 credited to their Business Account and the Business Account of the person who gave you the Golden Ticket!
Golden Ticket Givers:
Monzo will allocate Golden Tickets to a number of existing Monzo Business customers chosen at its discretion. Each Golden Ticket has a unique identifier and can only be redeemed once.
Golden Ticket Receivers: Anyone who clicks on the Golden Ticket link shared with them will be invited to sign up for a Monzo Business Account without having to go through the waitlist. Once you activate your Golden Ticket by providing your email address you have 14 days to satisfy the remainder of the eligibility criteria. If you already have a Monzo Business Account or are in the middle of applying for a Monzo Business Account, you will not be able to redeem the Golden Ticket. In order for you and the person who shared the Golden Ticket with you to receive €100 into both of your Monzo Business Accounts, you, as the recipient of the Golden Ticket must: Open an Monzo Business Account; Activate your card; and Make a payment on your card. If these criteria are not satisfied: the Golden Ticket cannot be shared with another potential customer; and the recipient of the Golden Ticket shall have no claim on Monzo for any cash amount.
Amount Allocated: The €100 will be credited to the Monzo Business Accounts of both the giver and receiver of the Golden Ticket within 3 days of the Golden Ticket receiver satisfying the criteria above. You will be notified that €100 has been credited to your Monzo Business account in the Monzo App.
Golden tickets don't last forever...
Golden Tickets will only be available to claim until 13 April 2026 (subject to the 14 days period to satisfy the remainder of the eligibility criteria set out above). All Golden Ticket holders for whom we have details of will be notified in advance of the Golden Ticket claim expiry (provided that you’ve agreed that it’s ok for us to email you). Anyone who tries to use a Golden Ticket after the expiry date will be informed that the promotion is no longer active.
This promotion is separate and distinct from any other Golden Ticket promotion.
The small print 🔍
If you take advantage of any of the promotions listed above, Monzo will assume that you’ve read and agreed to these rules. These rules are designed to comply with the Advertising Standards Authority of Ireland code of conduct regarding running promotions and the Gambling Regulation Act, 2024. And so you know, we have the right to refuse to provide the promotion to anyone who’s breached these rules.
We’ll end or temporarily close the incentives/ promotions if we suspect any fraudulent, abusive or suspicious behaviour or any activity that contravenes the spirit or letter of these rules or applicable laws. We can also amend or add to these rules if necessary, with appropriate notice where required.
We’ll collect, store and process the data for everyone who enters the draws in line with our Privacy Notice and in accordance with relevant data protection legislation. And the last thing from us: Irish law applies to the prize draws and these rules. Anyone who enters it, submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
